Popular vocalist Rod Stewart now has a grandaughter after his daughter Kimberly delivered her newborn baby girl this weekend.

The as yet unnamed little girl was born in Los Angeles weighing 8lbs 9oz as is the first grandchild for Rod Stewart, whose partner Penny Lancaster gave birth to his eighth child in February.

Kimberly declared being pregnant in April and the baby’s dad is top rated actor Benico del Toro. Though the new parents are not together, both revealed they were anticipating the baby’s arrival.
